The Hustlers star Jennifer Lopez once dressed up as her then-fiance’s ex-girlfriend for a party, and it was not awkward for her at all. According to her. she loved it, and the couple enjoyed it as much as they could.

It is no news to anyone that Jennifer and the former baseball player Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez are not together anymore. In fact, Jennifer is now married to her ex-beau actor, Ben Affleck.

Why did Jennifer Lopez dress up as Madonna?

Covid came and ruined many plans for everyone, including JLo and Alex’s wedding plans as well. They too wanted to throw a big bash of Halloween party, but sadly that was also not possible.

However, they had their costumes ready, and everything was prepared. So, they decided to have an intimate party of four people, including Jennifer’s manager, Benny Medina.

They all got dressed up way too much, and it also made them curious. In her appearance on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, she said, “Yeah, we all got dressed up like way too much. My kids were like hiding in the bedrooms. They were like, ‘What are you doing?’ “

She got dressed up as none other than the icon Madonna, and her beau Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez dressed up as the singer Bruce Springsteen.

Jennifer wore a white wedding gown with a belt buckle stating, “Boy Toy.” When asked if she felt weird, she said, “No. I mean, it was so long ago.”

“No, it wasn’t weird at all,” she continued. “I loved it.”

Madonna is not only Alex’s ex-girlfriend but is the ‘Queen of Pop.’ So, thinking of dressing up like an icon is not unusual. And JLo didn’t think it was either.

Why did JLo and Alex break up?

Alex proposed to the singer in 2019. They were all set to marry in June 2020, but because of Covid, their plans were spoiled. Everything was planned, the wedding was supposed to take place in Italy, but all of it had to be canceled. 

They did try to make it happen later that year, but the singer did not feel it was the right time. Then, at the beginning of the year 2021, the rumors started coming up of rifts and the breakup of the duo. They did, however, decline all those rumors.

But then, in April 2021, they officially announced their breakup citing that they were better as friends.
