A lot of MLB players don?t get the chance to achieve either. But then there is MLB legend Scott Rolen, who has achieved both.

Rolen was recently inducted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame as a part of the 2023 Ballot. This was a huge moment for Rolen as he achieved every MLB star?s lifelong dream. But what made the achievement even more special was when Rolen shared the moment with his loved ones.

Scott Rolen was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame as a part of the 2023 Ballot. Rolen is experiencing happiness at having achieved a lifelong dream. But the retired third baseman enjoyed a special moment when he told his parents. The Cincinnati Reds? Twitter account shared a video of the moment he told his parents. Rolen first told his mother and then his father, to the delight of the surrounding family members.

In the Tweet, the Reds said, ?The moment Scott Rolen’s parents found out their son is heading to Cooperstown. ???. Rolen first made the ballot in 2018 but only received 10.2% of the vote. But he has since experienced what MLB.com?s Anthony Castrovince calls ?a meteoric rise in support?. This resulted in support for his case growing till he finally received 76.2% on this year’s ballot.

But despite eventually being inducted into the Hall Of Fame, Rolen has not had the easiest time. One voter considered voting for him in an earlier ballot, but snubbed him and turned in an empty ballot instead. That does not matter now as Scott Rolen is a Hall of Famer.

But the biggest achievement of his career was winning the World Series in 2006. Rolen was a consistently good hitter during his career with a fantastic fielding game.
