The Venezuelan outfielder has been outstanding for the Braves over the years. Had he not been injured for a long time, the Braves outfielder would have broken multiple MLB records. Talking about his recent outing from the plate, the Braves outfielder hammered a home run against the Athletics and hit the iconic “Ice Trae” celebration to honor the NBA star, Trae Young. However, he did not hit this celebration by any accident.

During the series against the Colorado Rockies, Acuna had promised that he would hit the “Ice Trae” celebration if he hit a home run in his next game. Per The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Acuna had said, “I think I’m going to do the Trae Young “Ice Trae” celebration next.”

Taking to Twitter, Fox Sports shared the video. Even the NBA star, Trae Young, acknowledged Acuna’s tribute to him and said, “too cold.”
