The true victory is in the unwavering support and the joy found in every game, irrespective of the score. The Arizona Diamondbacks who suffered a defeat in Game 3 of a World Series on Monday night, have lost Game 4 as well. However, while the Texas Rangers won the game 11-7, the Diamondbacks losing streak didn’t deter the passionate Arizona folk. 

Back in 2013, the LA Dodgers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks to clinch the NL West, stirring up the controversy by a “disrespectful and classless,” celebration. They jumped into the swimming pool and left behind some bodily fluid. Although this act happened over a decade back, the swimming pool at Chase Field has come into the limelight for a different reason this World Series.

Despite the Snakes’ consistently trailing mid-table in the league, their loyal fans exhibited an unparalleled level of support and unwavering enthusiasm. “Score be damned, this Snakes fan was ending up in the pool no matter what tonight”.

Talking about the Diamondbacks, the Torey Lovullo-led side has come as a surprise package this season. Despite being in the same division as the MLB heavyweights like the LA Dodgers, SD Padres, and SF Giants, it’s the Snakes fighting in the Fall Classic. Although the Dbacks are just one defeat away from losing the prestigious MLB championship, one of the Arizona fans did not mind the scoreline and had the experience of a lifetime during Game 4.

Roses are red, violets are blue and the Rangers are hot in this postseason. Led by visionary Bruce Bochy, the Texans have been playing exceptionally well this season. Now, the question is, can the Torey Lovullo-led side replicate their Phillies comeback against the Rangers?

Notably, the Dbacks overcame a 2-0 lead against the Phillies in the NLCS and eliminated one of the World Series favorites. And if things do not go south, the Dbacks will be eyeing another comeback in this postseason. However, it is also to be noted that the Rangers are undefeated on the road in playoffs and World Series. Having won 10 games on the road and with a 3-1 lead in the World Series, the Rangers are in the driving position.

While the Rangers are just one win away from their maiden championship, it’s not over until it is over for the Diamondbacks.
