New York Yankees are having their best time in the league. They have the best winning records this season across the American League and National League. However, during their recent game against the Toronto Blue Jays, a gameplay between Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Marwin Gonzalez has sparked controversy.

Notably, the Yankees won the game 9-1 against the Blue Jays. With this convincing win in the second game, the Yankees clinched the three-game series against the Blue Jays. Players like Aaron Judge, Anthony Rizzo, and Gleyber Torres have been crucial for the Yankees this season.

With 18 wins out of 24 games, the Yankees are donning the American League East. Apart from the Baltimore Orioles, the Yankees are yet to lose a single series this season. Coming down to their recent game, the Yankees utility player Marwin Gonzalez created some drama in the ballpark and fooled Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

The New York Yankees had already won the first game of the series. They came into the second game to win the game, as well as the series against the Toronto Blue Jays. As usual, the Yankees dominated the Blue Jays the entire game.

However, during the seventh inning of the game, Gonzalez tried to score a run from the base. But the Blue Jays star Vladimir received a quick throw from one of his teammates, and he tried to tag Gonzalez. The Yankees star was not ready to get out so easily, so he started running between the bases and confused Vladimir.

Even with the ball in his hand, Vladimir was not sure where to throw it. And Gonzalez, finally, succeeded in his mission and stole a base from the Blue Jays. However, a report from Sportsnet suggests Vladimir did tag Gonzalez. But because of an umpiring error, the Yankees star survived.

Although, even if Gonzalez would have given out, it could not have helped the Blue Jays to change the result. Because right from the start of the game, The Bronx Bombers dominated the game at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
