Carlos Correa, who was the talk of MLB town through the months of January and February earlier this year, recently had to sit out for two straight games due to back stiffness. However, that didn’t stop the World Series-winning shortstop from celebrating a full-fledged Easter with his family at Target Field on Sunday.

On a personal level, after winning the 2017 World Series with the Astros, Correa went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend Daniella Rodriguez in front of millions on national television. In November 2021, their first son, Kylo, was born. A few weeks back, in March 2023, their second son, Kenzo, was born.

The Twins, on the other hand, would be hoping for a speedy recovery and comeback for Correa. Since Correa walked to the bench after an awkward play at home against the Astros, Minnesota Twins lost two consecutive matches. That being said, they’re still well situated in the pool, with two series wins out of their first three – including one against the mighty Astros.

When will Carlos Correa be back in the ballpark?

After sitting out for two games in a row due to back tightness, the 2021 Gold Glove, Platinum Glove, and Fielding Bible winner, Carlos Correa, shed some light on his situation. He clarified that it’s not a serious injury and that he expects to be back within days: “My problems in the past were more lower back. There’s nothing there right now. It’s just like a spasm. Nothing to worry about. Just some treatment and some rest and it should be good.”
