Although the New York Mets registered their fifth consecutive win on Tuesday, the major attraction of the game was an unbelievable catch by one spectator in the stands. What is more amazing about it is that he grabbed it with one hand while holding his one-year-old baby in the other hand.

Not only the National League East division, but the New York Mets have been ruling the entire National League. They have registered the most wins (34) in the NL. Coming back to the game against the Nationals, Starling Marte, once again, had an excellent game from the plate.

The Mets outfielder belted a two-run home run in the stands. When Marte hit the ball, a man named Alcantara, standing beside the rail, snagged the ball with one hand while holding his one-year-old baby in the other hand.

“I knew I was not going to have time to put the baby down,” Alcantara said. “So I decided to just hold on tight to him, jump on the rail and see if I could catch the ball. And we did.”

New York Mets have proved all the critics wrong with their dominant performance in the current season. Though they made some interesting signings during the 2022 free agency, the Mets have also suffered several injuries.
