WATCH: Trevor Story Turns Photographer for Eager Boston Red Sox Fans Amid Woeful MLB Season

Trevor Story joined his teammates to participate in the Boston Red Sox’s on-field photoshoot day. It’s an event where the team makes a close connection with the fan community. The Red Sox players and their fans get together for photographs. The images then get shared across the franchise’s social network handles. 

Trevor Story is a second baseman for the Boston Red Sox. He can also defend as a shortstop. He made his MLB debut with the Colorado Rockies in 2016. Story is a two-time All-Star member.

Sunday, September 18th, 2022, was the Red Sox’s annual interactive photo session day with fans at Fenway Park. Trevor was among the players to take selfies with Red Sox fans. The images got shared on the Red Sox’s Twitter account, and the followers were quick to react.

The baseball community is aware of Trevor Story’s proficiency in the diamond. He is an athletic fielder and a clean hitter of the ball. But on Sunday, he appeared to get creative differently. As it was a day for photography, Trevor displayed his expertise with the camera.

The Red Sox players greeted their fans at Fenway Park before the beginning of the game on Sunday. They were about to play the last game of a series against the Kansas City Royals. The Red Sox have had a horrible tournament in the ongoing season. Nonetheless, the fans still flocked in to meet their heroes. 

The Red Sox authorities posted a brief video of Story, stating, “Time to BeReal.”

So, while most fans are largely unhappy with the Red Sox’s nightmarish season, they haven’t abandoned supporting their team.

No matter what, a portion of the crowd always supports their beloved team and players through thick and thin. 

The Red Sox in the ongoing season 

The Red Sox have put out a horrendous campaign this year. It’s one of the worst MLB seasonal outings for the team in a long time. With a poor win-loss record, the Red Sox are now the last-ranked team in their zone. Already disqualified from proceeding beyond the regular season, they can only hope to salvage pride in the remaining games.
