Per an old video doing rounds on YouTube, Jennifer Lopez revealed how she felt connected with Alex Rodriguez. She also revealed that her work ethic was very similar to A-Rod’s. Notably, they spent almost four years together.

“I think when I met Alex, I realized, and we were together like a year, I was like, oh my god! This is what it’s like to be with me. We are the same person in many many ways, and work ethic is definitely one of them,” Lopez said.

She also believed that A-Rod’s work ethic made him one of the best in the game.

“I think that’s what made him one of the best baseball players of all time. It was his work ethic. I believe that is a thread amongst all of the greats, you have to put in the work,” Lopez added.

Talking about the same, the Yankees legend also agreed with Lopez’s words. He said that both grew up with holes in their shoes.

“By the way, the true like underdogs like we are like David and the Goliath. I mean, we did not go to college, we lived the American dream. We both grew up with holes in our shoes,” A-Rod concluded.
