The off-season has been extremely busy, with several deals taking place so far. The New York Yankees completed the off-season’s biggest deal by bringing back Aaron Judge for 9 years and $360 million. While that was a win for the franchise, there has been a lack of other moves to improve the team. They have not picked up any big acquisitions in terms of position players.

This reaction from the fans is justified as they only want to see the team win a World Series. The Yankees genuinely have a lot of problems that they have to address with their roster before the season begins. Especially if they want to start the Aaron Judge era of captaincy with a bang.

Aaron Judge is the Yankee’s new captain, and he has a monumental task ahead

After officially signing his 9-year $360 million deal, Aaron Judge was named captain of the New York Yankees. The move has seemed like an obvious one for years, but fans are still happy about it. But Judge will have a tall task ahead of him. The Yankees crumbled in the 2022 ALCS to the Houston Astros. Thus making it 13 years since they last won a World Series.
