Born in South Korea, shortstop Kim Ha-seong made his KBO debut in 2014 with the Nexen Heroes. Seven years into his sting with the Heroes, the Korean shortstop decided to get posted in the MLB. With three KBO Golden Gloves to his name, in 2021, the San Diego Padres signed the Korean champion to a four-year deal, worth $28 million. In the absence of Fernando Tatis Jr., first due to his injury, followed by his suspension in 2021 and 2022, Ha-seong recorded above-average numbers and managed to find a fan in Hollywood.

As reported by Devine Sports Gospel through their Twitter, this rising Padres star’s arrival in the MLB in 2021, has helped him garner a fan in the glitz and glam of Los Angeles. And the fan is none other than the 20-year-old television star, Jenna Ortega, who is making news for her recent Netflix release, Wednesday.
