New York Yankees have proved every speculation and prediction wrong in the 2022 season. Given their performance in the last season and a dull free agency, the Yankees have stunned everyone with their performance. With players like Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge, and Nestor Cortes Jr. by their side, the Pinstripes are running riots in the American League East.

Though the Yankees are comfortably winning the games, they suffered an enormous setback when Giancarlo Stanton got injured lately. With the duo of Aaron Judge and Stanton by their side, the Yankees had the best hitters on the plate. Despite missing a few games because of his injury, Stanton has smashed 11 home runs in 2022.

Earlier in May, the Yankees placed Stanton on the injured list because of his ankle inflammation. Playing as an outfielder, Stanton has been a smash-hit for the Yankees. And the Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone is in no mood to change his position when Stanton makes his comeback from the injury.

If things go right for the Yankees, Stanton might return from the injured list by the end of this week. Talking about Stanton, the Yankees’ manager clarified that Stanton’s position will not change after his comeback from the injury.

“I view him similar to how we’ve used him through the season. I’ve already talked about that with him and I think we’re on the same page…,” said Aaron Boone. “There’s always that challenge with switch hitters. We want him to start building quality at-bats and get that confidence going.”
