Barry Bonds is one of the greats

However, to this day Bonds’ record of most home runs stands disputed. He is disputed because of his admission of unknowingly taking steroids that might have helped him break the record of most home runs in a career by Hank Aaron.

No matter disputed or undisputed, Bayless still considers Barry Bonds as a player to have a legendary charisma. In his show, he said, “When I think of legendary auras, magnetic stature, people I’ve been around and felt the power of, I think of Ali,… I think of Michael Jordan,….. Tiger Woods,… I think of Barry Bonds. We’re talking about immortally great here.”

His not being in the Hall of Fame has people having different opinions on the same. The reason why he is not and should not be included in Cooperstown is that he admits to having taken steroids even if mistakenly.

While some think it is wrong to have him excluded, others think the Hall of Fame should never have a member who played by cheating.
