Aaron Judge is playing on a different level this season. The Yankees slugger smacked his 18th home run of the season on Sunday. However, it was not enough for the New York Yankees to win the game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Judge has been a massive positive for the Pinstripes in the current season. He is probably having his career-best season in 2022. And if he continues to play like this, he might win the American League MVP Award.

Aaron Judge wants to keep playing
After their recent series against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Yankees will finally have a couple of days to rest, as they have been playing for 22 consecutive days. Since the beginning of a series against the Texas Rangers, the Yankees have not taken a single day off.

During these 22 days, the Yankees have played 23 games, and despite the tight schedule and several injuries, the Aaron Judge and company have won 15 games out of it. But Judge does not want to take a rest. He wants to keep playing every day for the Yankees.

Per MLB.com, he said, “I think everybody in here wants to play again. I think we’ve got a bad taste in our mouth. It doesn’t matter how many games you’ve got in a row. Everybody in here is ready to go, every single day.”

“We’re in first place; that’s the only thing I’m really going to look at. It’s better than being in second place, that’s for sure,” Judge said this after a 4-2 loss against the Rays.
