The Angels rookie, on Tuesday, had a memorable game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Detmers was phenomenal from the mound and played an instrumental role in the Angels’ victory.

Although the Angels’ stars Mike Trout and Anthony Rendon had a brilliant game, Reid Demers stole the limelight with his inch-perfect pitches. The Angels ace threw a no-hitter against the Rays, which is extremely rare in an MLB game. What is more remarkable is that he did it in his rookie season.

Throwing a no-hitter in a rookie season is as good as a soccer player scoring a hat-trick of goals in his first season. The Angels ace Reid Detmers will remember this game for his entire life. It was only the 12th no-hitter in the history of LA Angels. However, with his stunning performance from the mound, the Angels won the game 12-0 against the Tampa Bay Rays.

After watching Detmers’ stunning game, baseball fans could not resist, but praise the rookie for his excellent outing.
