Alex Rodriguez is a name known by every baseball fan, and his relationship with actress Jennifer Lopez has certainly made headlines multiple times. 

When Jennifer posted a picture of her on Instagram showing her abs, her rapper ex Sean Combs, also known as P.Diddy, commented, “OMG” with heart eyes emoji. This flirtatious attempt by Diddy was shut down by the Yankees legend, commenting on the same picture, “Lucky Me.” 

Alex Rodriguez marked his territory

Jennifer posted a picture of her showing off her abs, captioning, “Day 9 and feelin’… like I can’t wait for Day 10. Who’s still with us?” This was when she challenged herself to be on a 10-day, no carbs, no sugar diet. 

By the comment of “lucky me,” Alex Rodriguez let Diddy know that Jennifer was his girlfriend. These two comments by A-Rod and Diddy caused quite a stir in the comment section of JLo’s picture. 

While JLo’s image attracted Diddy’s attention enough to make him comment on her picture, A-Rod’s comment was enough to remind him that she was taken.

One of the fans said in the comments, “Arod reminding Diddy she’s taken.” Meanwhile, other people in the comments were waiting for JLo’s other exes, like Marc Anthony, to join the stir in the comments section. However, it did not happen.

Jennifer met Alex at the right time

Jennifer dated Diddy for two and a half years, ending their relationship in 2001. After Diddy, she went on to date and marry, Marc Anthony. With whom, she shares twins Emme and Max. When her relationship with Anthony ended, she dated other stars, and finally met A-Rod in 2017. They started dating shortly after. 

In an interview, she said, “I needed to bounce around a little bit and figure myself out. I wasn’t ready for the healthiest things because I needed to figure out how to be healthy first – have self-worth, value, deal with my insecurities.”

She said that the two met at exactly the right time. She added that they wouldn’t have worked out if they met each other earlier than they did. The couple then got engaged and, after two years of engagement, they called it off in April 2021.

Jennifer moved on from this relationship and got married to Ben Affleck in a small ceremony in Vegas.
