The least attended super bowl in the history of the NFL happened last year in February 2021, where the attendance of fans was merely 25k in the stadium. The reason behind this low attendance was the covid-19 restrictions going on at that time.

A group of stars, including Alex Rodriguez, Aaron Judge, Shaquille O’Neal, and Meek Mill, were seen partying, with businessman Michael Rubin and CEO of the Patriots, Robert Kraft.

Moreover, the entire posse was seen partying without a mask, a move that had drawn the ire of some fans at the time.

Wearing masks and maintaining social distancing was still mandatory at the time. But none of the aforementioned megastars that were together had their masks on, nor were any one of them seen practicing social distancing.

All of them have had reasons for how they all got to know each other, and why they were at the game amid the crisis going on in the world. Alex Rodriguez, however, did not come alone and was joined by his then-fiancee, Jennifer Lopez, for the match.

Yankees player Aaron Judge joined all of them at the match, as he was already in Tampa for spring training. JLo and A-Rod knew Kraft because they consulted him while trying to buy the Mets. ‘J-Rod’ would eventually lose out to multi-billionaire Steve Cohen.

O’Neal was present because he considered Kraft one of his heroes. Kraft and Rubin have reportedly worked together to get famed Atlanta rapper Meek Mill out of prison.

Kraft went to the game to cheer for Tom Brady, even though he had already left the New England Patriots for Tampa Bay.

All of them got photographed in a group picture without their masks and no evidence of social distancing whatsoever. Michael Rubin has posted the image having all of the above royalties except Jennifer Lopez. Who knows, maybe she clicked the picture.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers won that Super Bowl

Super Bowl LV became the least attended Super Bowl in the history of the league, with only 25000 fans in attendance. The reason behind the game being registered in history was the ongoing pandemic in the world.
