Back in 2019, after his successful proposal, the celebrity player appeared for an interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” talking about his experience and how he almost got caught because of his 2009 World Series Championship Ring. The 3xMVP planned for the proposal at sunset time on the beach. He even practiced for three days with his assistant to execute his perfect proposal. But his World Series Ring got into his perfect plan.

While expressing his entire plan, the MLB legend said, “I’ve only worn this ring probably a handful of times but I said this is a big moment. I kind of gave it away, cause when I put on the ring she goes ‘where are we going with that ring?’” However, he finally managed to hide things from her and presented her with a perfect proposal on the beach, as he planned.  A-Rod and JLo’s Dating History

The MLB star and the Pop-sensation first met in 2005, but at that time, they both have been with their previous partners. A-Rod was married to Cynthia Scurtis, and JLo was with his ex-husband Marc Anthony. At that point, nothing worked between them. It was a casual meeting.
