Arizona Diamondbacks‘ dream run once again proves that determination goes a long way. After their devastating season-ending a few years back with more than 100 game defeats, no one ever imagined the team to make a comeback. However, the D-backs made it possible in a heightened way and reach the World Series after 22 seasons. Since the World Series schedule was released fans are eagerly awaiting for the home games where Diamondbacks will take on Texas Rangers.

The D-backs have played multiple games in their home ground this season, but since they haven’t been in the World Series run for over two decades, fans are eager to fill up the team’s home ground.

The D-backs have been playing their home games at Chase Field since 1998. Their first World Series victory was also on the same ground where they will appear against the Texas Rangers at the 2023 World Series.

Chase Field is the only home ground the Diamondbacks ever have during their MLB journey. Though initially, it was named Bank One Ballpark, in 2005, the stadium got the name Chase Field. The D-backs never shifted to another stadium during these years. The construction of the stadium started in 1996. After two years, in 1998, it was opened for baseball games, just before the D-backs first MLB season. During the first season, it welcomed over 3.6 million people to see the ballpark and the team’s performance.

D-backs’ home ground is the first stadium with a retractable roof with 9 million pounds of structural steel and a natural grass ground. However, the most attractive part of the Chase Field is the swimming pool, located behind part of the right field fence.

The field has hosted memorable events such as the 2001 World Series and the 2011 All-Star Game. It also saw Randy Johnson achieve his 4,000th strikeout in 2004 and the team’s wins in the 2023 NLCS. Despite losing their first two games, the D-backs succeeded on their home turf, propelling them to the World Series.

The team will face the Rangers in the World Series in Chase Field for three back-to-back games.
