Derek Jeter’s elder daughter got emotional when the Yankees legend received a call for his Hall of Fame confirmation

Back in 2020, Derek Jeter was with his wife, Hannah Davis, his parents, and his two daughters, when he received a call for his Hall of Fame confirmation. When Jack O’Connell of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America confirmed the same to Jeter, his entire family started celebrating the glorious moment.

However, his elder daughter Bella started crying as she got emotional about her father’s achievement. Taking to YouTube, the Players’ Tribune shared the video; in which one can see the moment Jeter received the call and the said incident.

Later in the video, the MLB announcer said a few complimentary words for the Yankees legend.

“Today, Derek Jeter joins a distinguished list of Yankees greats and taking his rightful place in the Hall of Fame. He went out to become a five-time World Series champion… Welcome to Cooperstown! We will see you in July,” the announcer said.
