Colin Cowherd in defense of steroid users

Renowned MLB pundit, Colin Cowherd, once made some obscure comments to defend the baseball legends linked to steroid use. According to Cowherd, those players unfairly got the Hall Of Fame snub. Because irrespective of steroid usage, the talent, and contributions of those players can’t get ignored.

To put his points through, Cowherd made some weird comparisons. He talked about technological masterminds copying previous works for new creations. Then he talked of singers who use auto-tune and sing lyrics penned by others. So if authorities can honor such people with awards, just as well can be the baseball players who take steroids.

Digging into the matter, Cowherd said, “There’s about five or six guys yesterday that did not get in. Clemens, Bonds, Bagwell, McGwire, Sosa, and the belief is they are kind of alleged steroid guys. But you know, I would throw this out to you. Is that if there is a p*rn Hall Of Fame, would Viagra users not get in?”

Cowherd further added saying, “So if you think everybody in the Hall is clean, you are out of your mind. So if you don’t have a complete list of who used and who didn’t, just go to the numbers and let them in. Because you don’t have a list and don’t be arrogant enough to think you know who took it and who didn’t. When A-Rod first got busted, weren’t we all surprised?”
