The Yankees share an iconic rivalry with the Red Sox. But the Mets are also a part of the New York-Boston feud. In the latest game between the Mets and the BoSox, fans of both teams mocked the Bombers. They yelled “Yankees Suck” during a game against each other at Fenway Park. This was a strategic partnership between the two fan bases to put down a common foe. Jack Warner, a college student covering New York sports, shared a video of the incident on Twitter.
Would it be a matchup between the Red Sox and the Mets without a “Yankees suck!” chant?

In a tweet, Warner said, “Would it be a matchup between the Red Sox and the Mets without a “Yankees suck!” chant? Of course not. This has slowly become a tradition when these two fanbases cross paths with one another.” As Warner astutely mentions, this has become a new tradition between the two fanbases as they come together to mock the Bombers.
