Celebrities in attendance for major sporting events are nothing new. Every time fans see their favorites from different spheres of life together, it surely makes up for a heartwarming moment. This time around it was American Idol winner and country singer Scotty McCreery who was seen alongside former Yankees Pitcher, CC Sabathia.

As Rangers clashed against the D-Backs, the two were seen in the stands enjoying the high-profile encounter as Scotty recorded the clip. In the clip the ‘Carolina to Me’ singer is heard saying “What’s up Ya’ll Scotty here, Im at the World Series just hanging out with CC. We’re having a good time, Game 2” while introducing a smiling Sabathia.

The two looked in good spirits and focused on the game at hand. A self-professed baseball fan, McCreery was a pitcher for his high school team in North Carolina before taking up singing. He has also been involved in youth baseball programs and is passionate about the game. World Series has a long trend of having in attendance celebrities and personalities that are sure to grab attention.
