The 2024 baseball season is almost here, and after the 2023 horror, the New York Yankees are totally gearing up for it. A bunch of the guys have already started working out at the team’s Tampa facilities, getting a jump on spring training. Honestly, it’s pretty cool to see them in Tampa almost 30 days early. If nothing, it is a very reassuring sight to many Yankee fans, who will join me in saying 2024 is going to be our year.

And it is captain Aaron Judge leading the pack. But who else is with Judge in Tampa right now?

Which New York Yankees joined Aaron Judge so early?

Right now, as reported by Justin Shackil, he’s got company with teammates like Gleyber Torres, Anthony Volpe, DJ LeMahieu, Austin Wells, Carlos Rodon, Nestor Cortes, Jonathan Loaisiga, Oswaldo Cabrera, and Jasson Dominguez, all getting into the groove early. It’s clear and very optimism-inducing that these guys mean business.

There have also been some noticeable changes in a few players. Giancarlo Stanton and Carlos Rodon have slimmed down and look more athletic. An injury-free season for both these nine-figure contract stars is crucial to our season.

The front office has been quite busy off the field too, with Marcus Stroman entering the rotation, and a few hopeful additions to the pen. Boone’s already talking about the batting order, and I can’t get more excited.

Good news on the injury front as well – Jasson Dominguez seems to be making a solid comeback after Tommy John surgery, with hopes to be back in action by summer. And Cashman seems optimistic about the team’s health overall.

All in all, the New York Yankees are covering all bases. They’re laying down some strong groundwork for a season that could be epic, maybe (fingers crossed) even leading to a championship. Between their early start, getting in shape, decent roster moves, and the leadership showing up across the board, I like to believe, from the bottom of my heart, they’re ready.
