Carlos Correa is finally getting some time off. After making headlines almost every week during the 2022 off-season, news about him finally died down a bit in January. As he oscillated between teams to sign with, Correa ultimately went back to the Minnesota Twins. But since the 2023 season started, he has been giving a lukewarm performance that has failed to impress fans.

This display is in line with what fans are used to seeing from the shortstop at the beginning of every season. Admittedly, however, 2023 seems to be worse than other seasons, so maybe a day or two off will help. And how is he spending his time away from the field? With his family, of course.

Carlos Correa goes back to a special spot with his wife Daniella Rodriguez

After the Houston Astros won the 2017 World Series championship, Correa shared a sweet moment with his then-girlfriend Daniella. Right in the middle of an interview, the shortstop went down on one knee to propose to her! And it’s been a happily ever after story for the couple ever since. With their two sons, the couple revisited a memorable place from the early days of their relationship.

Rodriguez posted some pictures to her Instagram that showed Correa and their kids at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. “Carlos and I came to the aquarium when we first started dating so coming back 7 years later with two kids is surreal 🥹 Nothing makes me happier than seeing my boys enjoy off days with their papa 🥰😌,” the former model captioned the post.
