Surroundings matter a lot while growing up. It certainly did matter for the actress and singer Jennifer Lopez when she first stepped into her new home in Bel Air. She walked into her house with the former baseball player Alex Rodriguez and gave an interview to Vanity Fair about her lavish property. 

A-Rod and JLo started dating in 2017. It was the same year they rekindled their friendship after meeting in 2005 for the first time. Jennifer had bought the Bel Air property back in 2016 for a whopping price of $28 million from Sela Ward. 

From the start to the end of their relationship, Jennifer and Alex managed to stay in the headlines. Once, she talked about her beautiful house and how she envisioned her kids growing up there.

What did Jennifer Lopez, ex-fiance of Alex Rodriguez, say about her Bel Air house?

Sitting on the stone patio of the new Bel Air house, Jennifer gave the interview to Vanity Fair’s Bethany McLean. She talked about the feeling that she had when she entered the house for the first time. 

“We walked into this house, and I said, ‘This is where I want my kids to grow up,’” the actress said to the reporter. Furthermore, she added, “You have to imagine your life, and what you want to be in it, and I imagined we would be very happy here no matter what.”

The actress-singer imagined that the house would be the one where she wanted to see her kids grow up. And she went for it. Overlooking the infinity pool, JLo talked about how the swing there is perfect for her (then)nine-year-old twins. And everything there was perfect and exactly what she needed.
