Not many people know this, but Alex Rodriguez helped Mike Tyson’s rival, who lost $200 million in career earnings due to a lack of financial literacy and poor management. Yes! Evander Holyfield, who happened to be Tyson’s rival, got the much-needed help from A-Rod to be financially stable again.
Alex Rodriguez came as an angle for Evander Holyfield
Per Black Sports Online, Alex Rodriguez provided the much-needed financial aid to the former heavyweight champion through his ‘Back in the Game’ program. Evander cashed almost $20 million on building a swanky home. But little did Evander know that he will not be able to afford the maintenance of such a lavish home.
In A-Rod’s words, the former heavyweight champ did not have enough money to pay the bills of his home. And the Yankees legend blamed the people around Evander for this financial crisis.

The former Yankee also pointed out that Evander trusted the wrong people who led to this mishap.
“Seems that you trusted the wrong people… Bottom line is if he had the right team around him, he would have never lost his fortune. First thing I need to do is figure out what projects he is currently involve with. Next, I want to build the Holyfield brand… I also want to make sure that he has the right team around him,” A-Rod added.
