Looks like ‘love’ is stealing the spotlight at Yankee Stadium! On October 14, Taylor Swift, the “Cruel Summer” sensation, was spotted enjoying game 1 of the MLB American League Championship Series with none other than Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, that’s what we call a home run in the romance department. Swift and Kelce brought their star power for the highly anticipated first game, however, things got wild when Taylor was seemingly highly impressed by Juan Soto’s homer.

Moreover, Taylor’s support left Cleveland fan Travis in shock. Taylor Swift has really made waves in the football world since her romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce went public last year. While the Chiefs are gunning for their third Super Bowl win in a row this season, Travis decided to take a little timeout and enjoy some October baseball with Taylor on Monday – what better way to mix love and sports, right?

Look what Juan Soto made Taylor Swift do

To Travis’s amazement, Taylor was backing the wrong team. Yankees slugger Juan Soto made a splash on Monday night with his first postseason home run since joining the team, smashing a solo shot in the third inning. And guess who had a front-row seat? Taylor Swift – her reaction to Soto’s homer was priceless. But wait—does this mean she’s a Yankees fan? After all, her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is a Cleveland guy – talk about a bit of an awkward situation!

It was almost as if Taylor was saying, ‘Welcome to New York!’ to Travis while cheering for the home team. Gotta love the playful drama; Kelce, 35, hailing from Cleveland, was clearly rooting for the away team while Swift, 34, was all in for the Yankees as they celebrated a home run. It’s quite the twist, considering the Yankees just knocked out his Kansas City Royals last week to clinch a spot in the championship series.

The Yankees are clearly ready to make a run for the title

A couple of powerful swings, a standout performance from their starting pitcher, and a clutch showing from their newly minted closer. The New York Yankees made a win in ‘Style’, striking first in the American League Championship Series. Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton each sent baseballs soaring into the bullpens beyond the outfield fence, making their mark early in the game.

On the mound, lefty Carlos Rodón was impressive, allowing just three baserunners in three innings. And when the pressure was on, Luke Weaver stepped up to extinguish an eighth-inning fire, notching a five-out save. With all that firepower, the Yankees secured a 5-2 victory over the Cleveland Guardians that they never saw in their ‘Wildest Dreams’.

The Yankees are ready to roll with their ace, Gerrit Cole, on the mound for Game 2 on Tuesday night. They’re aiming to grab a 2-0 lead before the series shifts to Ohio. After that solid win, they’ve set the tone in grabbing the upper hand, and with Cole ready to go, the team is hoping to keep that momentum going. Do you think the Yankees are ‘…Ready For It’?
