New York Yankees legend CC Sabathia plays golf to help stay fit. Furthermore, he enjoys the sport and regularly rides to the green for a swing. Most recently, he enjoyed some Friday golf with some top company.

Sabathia attributes his good health and weight loss to playing golf after retiring. This, along with other forms of exercise, helped the Yankees pitcher get back into top shape. He also enjoys playing the game with his friends on a nice day.

New York Yankees legend CC Sabathia enjoys a round of golf with two NFL Super Bowl champions

CC Sabathia loves to play golf with his friends. The Yankees legend airs his competitive spirit while also enjoying the game. Most recently, he played a round with two NFL Champions, Michael Strahan and Victor Cruz. Strahan is an NFL Hall Of Famer and 7-time Pro Bowl selection. Furthermore, he also won the Super Bowl with the New York Giants. Cruz, on the other hand, is a 1-time Pro Bowl selection and 1-time Super Bowl Champion as well. Sabathia shared an Instagram Post of himself with the former NFL players and a couple of other friends.

In the caption, he said, “🏌🏾‍♂️ Friday @alpinecountryclub1928”. He enjoyed a Friday golf session at the Alpine Country Club in New Jersey. It is one of his favorite spots to play a round of golf. Furthermore, this time, he had some legendary company as well.

Most recently, Sabathia put his golf skills to good use at the Derek Jeter Invitational. He helped Derek Jeter, his close friend, and former teammate raise funds for a good cause by participating in the Celebrity Golf Tournament. He took time out of his schedule to help out an old friend. 

What is Sabathia doing after retirement?

After retiring from baseball, CC Sabathia focused on himself and his health. He worked hard to get back into shape and also started a podcast. Last year, he got back into baseball by joining the MLB Commissioners’ office. He was hired to be a special assistant to MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred. The Yankees legend is still in that role and enjoys interacting with MLB players as part of his responsibilities.
