There is a long-standing ritual that Major League Baseball still follows to this day. It is the one of throwing ceremonial first pitches before the game. Almost two decades ago, the honor of throwing the first pitch went to the Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
May 25, 2004, was the day when Oakland Athletics fought against the Boston Red Sox at their home ground, Fenway Park. And according to the statistics, lost the game terribly. Grabbing the attention of over 35,000 people, the supermodel came to the pitcher’s mound and threw the first pitch of the game.

Gisele Bündchen rocked all three colors of the Red Sox jersey!
There is no such clarity on the amount of practice the supermodel did before throwing out the first pitch if she did at all. Her pitch went right above the catcher’s head, and she was quite amused by that fact as well.
Red Sox’s jersey has three colors in it, red, white, and navy blue. While throwing the first pitch, Bündchen donned the jersey, and had her charm spread all over Fenway Park.
