Alex Rodriguez recalled an inspirational meeting with NFL legend Dan Marino
Alex Rodriguez is one of the best baseball players of all time. But even he has sporting idols that he looks up to. While helping Jennifer Lopez prepare for her Super Bowl performance in 2020, Rodriguez met his idol, Dan Marino. A-Rod then recounted a story of how he had met the former NFL player when he was around 12 years old. The former New York Yankees star stated that the meeting had changed his life and given him hope.

While talking to Marino, Rodriguez said, “But you put your arm around me and you said, ‘man you’re a good-looking kid, you have a bright future.’ Man, I went home, and I told my mom. I said, ‘mom, I have a chance to make it. Danny, Danny approves.” Furthermore, he also mentioned that he had the chance to meet Marino when he was 17 years old as well.
