Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez retired from baseball in 2016. But he has had a busy life even post-retirement. In fact, his star value and public demand have gone much higher since his playing days. Famous American football player Michael Strahan reportedly had some issues with that matter.
Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez had a remarkable rise to stardom while playing MLB for the New York Yankees. ‘A-Rod’ is notably a 14-time All-Star member. Apparently, his presence proved beneficial in boosting the show ratings, too. Consequently, Rodriguez’s on-air demand grew beyond the MLB domain.
‘A-Rod’ appeared as a guest host and investor in the reality series, ‘Shark Tank.’ He also crossed over to the NFL expertise domain, which is what reportedly annoyed Michael Strahan. Because ‘A-Rod’ was once an infamous figure after being busted in a steroid scandal. So Strahan believed that media outlets have been giving some undeserving importance and publicity to a disgraced personality.

A source reported on Strahan’s feelings about Rodriguez, saying, “Alex Rodriguez is everywhere! Michael is feeling overshadowed, even though he’s six-foot-five! Michael was irate. He immediately felt threatened that Alex is being groomed to replace him.”

The source added, “They both have massive egos. Michael is seething that all anybody talks about is A-Rod. Michael can’t believe the image renovation Alex has gotten on TV. He used to be hated. Now Michael is telling pals Alex is set to replace him!”
