Why did Alex Rodriguez slam Michael Phelp’s rival Ryan Lochte?

Rodriguez used to do a show in which he mentored athletes who have made mistakes in their careers. One of those episodes featured the 12-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte. Because of a mistake, Lochte lost almost all of his sponsors and was living with his family in a two-bedroom rented apartment.

A mistake for which the Olympian issued an apology on Instagram. Which Alex criticized. The former Seattle Mariners star said, “His apology was pathetic. It was awful. Look it up. Half-assed, poorly written Instagram post.” What Ryan did was, in a drunken state, he messed with a gas station sign during the 2016 Olympics in Rio, which obviously landed him in trouble.
