The countdown has begun for her to evolve from tennis. And she had drawn comparison to the Yankees legend Derek Jeter while walking away in terms of their desires to win.

The Hall of Famer and the Yankees legend, Derek Jeter, retired from his professional baseball career in 2014. He is considered to be one of the greats of his game. And the fanfare he received was commendable. Some were surprised, some shocked, some were proud of him, and many were sad.?

He was and still is loved and respected by not only his fans but the media as well. It was hard to see the legend say goodbye.

She might have not said the date, but it is clear it is coming. And it will be even hard to say goodbye to her.

How will Serena be keeping herself busy after moving on from her career?

‘The Captain,’ Derek Jeter focused on spending time and growing his family after he got retired. Additionally, he focused on his businesses to keep himself busy. He co-owns a publishing house, and launched a platform for the players to grow,?‘The Player’s Tribune,’?among other things.

Jeter has three daughters, all under the age of 10. With his family, and these businesses to look over, he stays busy.

Just like him, Williams also has plans after evolving away from competitive tennis. She will also be focusing on her family, spending time with the family, and also the business.
