Alex Rodriguez is marking his spot in different fields. While his MLB career is his identity, A-Rod is also a successful businessperson and investor. The legend has continuously backed up his teams since he invested in the NBA and WNBA teams in 2021. The Minnesota Lynx part-owner’s recent social media post shows his sportsmanship in accepting situations, whether good or bad.

A-Rod’s excitement about WBNA’s upcoming championship was unparalleled, but that got a brutal hit. After his NBA dreams were shattered, the legend hoped his WNBA team would pay him back. The last WNBA game of the Minnesota Lynx against Connecticut Sun didn’t go well. However, the former Yankees legend still showered praise for his team on Twitter (now X).

Major Leagues often alter all the pre-planned equations, and who knows this better than the former MLB legend? The 2009 World Series Champion was excited when Lynx aimed for the WNBA Championship, but he accepted their failure with equal ease. After the last defeat of The Lynx against The Sun, A-Rod posted a video on Twitter with a caption saying, “Incredibly proud of the @minnesotalynx, the athletes, coaches, and the organization for a hard fought season that showed strength, dedication, and passion. It was so fun to watch and I can’t wait for next season.”

Thursday’s three-game series was going fine with each team having 1 win, the last game turned the table when the Suns won 90-75. Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner played their best to win the victory for the latter team. The former got her career-high 28 points, and the latter had 10 Rebounds with 25 Points. Additionally, she scored two 3-pointers. Also, Tyasha Harris’ 18 Points can’t be ignored, making four out of the nine three-pointers.

The Connecticut Suns swept away the Minnesota Lynx

After observing the Lynx’s early takeover strategy in the second game, the Suns got the point that they should be the ones taking the lead early. In the second game, the Lynx took the lead early and they won the game. So, the Suns didn’t repeat the same mistake again. They started aggressively and took the 20-6 run lead at the beginning of the game. Until the game reached its first half, the score was 49-34, with the Suns having their three goals.

The aggressiveness worked on the Minnesota Lynx, and they lost the pace by missing four straight field goals. Their pace returned with Carleton’s three-point shot, but it was too late. The Suns already took control until then.
