The month has changed, and October is here after bidding goodbye to September. The WNBA playoffs are also nearing their end. But one thing that has not changed is Caitlin Clark’s role as the Indiana Fever’s go-to player.

On Tuesday, Clark fouled out but still finished with 27 points and 15 assists to lead the Fever past the defending champion Aces and force a deciding Game 3, which will be played on Thursday. Kelsey Mitchell added 26 points for Indiana, while Aliyah Boston was not far behind with 22.

It was not just Clark’s scoring that stood out. Her 15 assists were more than the combined total recorded by Boston, Mitchell, and Sophie Cunningham. That makes Thursday’s game one to watch as the Fever look to keep their playoff run alive.

Will Clark be able to flip the script for the Fever once again? That remains to be seen. Adding to the excitement, MLB will also feature NL Wild Card games on the same day. Let’s check the broadcast schedules.

WNBA

The WNBA playoffs will continue with a crucial First Round Game 3 between the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces. With the series tied 1-1, both teams will look to take the lead in the best-of-three series.

The game is scheduled for 9:00 PM ET at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. After splitting the first two games, the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces will enter Thursday’s contest with everything level.

MLB 

This Thursday, MLB postseason continues with four Wild Card Series games on the schedule. 

The action begins at 2:00 PM ET when the Philadelphia Phillies visit the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The game will air on NBC.

At 5:00 PM ET, the Chicago White Sox will take on the Houston Astros at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas. Fans can watch the game on Peacock.

The Boston Red Sox will then face the New York Yankees at 8:00 PM ET on NBC. The game will be played at Yankee Stadium, adding another chapter to the rivalry during the postseason.

The final contest of the day starts at 10:00 PM ET, with the Chicago Cubs visiting the San Diego Padres at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The game will be available on Peacock.

College football 

The first game begins at 8:00 PM ET when W. Kentucky takes on New Mexico St. at Aggie Memorial Stadium. The game will air on CBSSN.

The schedule continues at 9:00 PM ET with North Texas facing Tulsa at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium. Fans can watch the game on ESPN.

NHL

The slate begins at 7:00 PM when the Rangers visit the Lightning. At the same time, the Blue Jackets will take on the Sabres, and the Devils will face the Flyers.

The schedule continues at 8:00 PM with the Predators visiting the Wild. Later, the Flames will meet the Kraken at 9:00 PM to close out the night’s action.
