The Boston Red Sox have already revealed their starting pitchers for the upcoming road trip to Miami. The three-game series against the Marlins begins will see the second game played on August 25th, and Ranger Suárez, Payton Tolle, and Sonny Gray already know when they’ll take the mound.

Boston entered Sunday’s series finale against the San Francisco Giants with a 70-59 record after winning the first two games of the series. Now, the Red Sox are set to send three of their best starting pitchers to the mound against the Miami Marlins. Altogether, MLB fans can expect an intriguing matchup on Aug. 25. But what about the broadcast details?

We’ll get to those shortly. However, baseball won’t be the only sport keeping fans busy that day. The WNBA, tennis, and several other sports will also have plenty to offer. Here’s a look at the schedule and broadcast details.

MLB

The MLB action starts at 6:40 PM ET, with the Tampa Bay Rays visiting the Detroit Tigers. The game will be available on Rays.TV, Dertoit Sports Network , and MLB.TV. At the same time, the Boston Red Sox will take on the Miami Marlins, with coverage on NESN and MLB.TV.

Next, the Colorado Rockies will visit the Washington Nationals at 6:45 PM ET. Fans can watch the game on Rockies.TV, Nationals.TV, MASN, or MLB.TV.

The schedule continues at 7:40 PM ET, when the Texas Rangers face the Chicago White Sox. The game will air on the Texas Rangers’ regional network, Chicago Sports Network (CHSN), and MLB.TV.

Later, at 9:38 PM ET, the Cleveland Guardians will take on the Los Angeles Angels. Coverage will be available on CLEGuardians.TV, Angels.TV, MLB Network for regional and out-of-market coverage, and MLB.TV.

The 9:40 PM ET window features four games. The Minnesota Twins will visit the Athletics, with coverage on Twins.TV, NBC Sports California, and MLB.TV. At the same time, the Chicago Cubs will face the Arizona Diamondbacks on Marquee Sports Network, DBacks.TV, and MLB.TV.

Also at 9:40 PM ET, the Philadelphia Phillies will take on the Seattle Mariners, with coverage on NBC Sports Philadelphia, Mariners.TV, MLB Network for regional and out-of-market coverage, and MLB.TV. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Pirates will visit the San Diego Padres, with the game available on SportsNet Pittsburgh, Padres.TV, and MLB.TV.

Finally, at 9:45 PM ET, the Cincinnati Reds will face the San Francisco Giants. Fans can catch the game on Reds.TV, NBC Sports Bay Area, and MLB.TV.

WNBA

The WNBA slate starts at 7:00 PM ET on August 25, when the Chicago Sky visit the Connecticut Sun. The game will be available on NBC Sports Boston and The U in Chicago, with streaming also available on WNBA League Pass.

The action continues at 8:00 PM ET, as the Portland Fire take on the Dallas Wings. Fans can watch the matchup on KPDX in Portland and Bally Sports Southwest in Dallas, with WNBA League Pass also available for streaming.

Finally, at 10:00 PM ET, the Washington Mystics will visit the Phoenix Mercury. Coverage will be available on Arizona’s Family Sports and Monumental Sports Network, with the game also streaming on WNBA League Pass.

Tennis

The tennis action continues Tuesday, Aug. 25, during US Open Fan Week and qualifying week, with a full day of matches and special events at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The day starts at 10:00 AM ET with first-round US Open qualifying and the mixed doubles main draw, covering the first two rounds. The action will be televised on ESPN2 and streamed on ESPN+.

Qualifying will also continue throughout the day across all 14 outer courts, with coverage available on ESPN+. Later, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET, fans can catch the early rounds of the US Open mixed doubles championship on ESPN+.

Meanwhile, Tennis Channel will provide additional US Open qualifying coverage starting at 3:00 PM ET and continuing through the end of play.

The evening will feature a special exhibition event, “Roger Federer: An Icon Returns to New York,” live from Arthur Ashe Stadium. The event will air from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET on ESPN2 and stream on ESPN+ and Disney+.

The 128-player men’s and women’s singles main draws for the US Open will begin Sunday, Aug. 30.

Other sports

There will be no live golf action on Tuesday. The PGA Tour’s Tour Championship and LPGA event preparations will ramp up later in the week.

Formula 1 will also remain quiet, with no live sessions scheduled. F1 came off its summer break, and practice for the upcoming Grand Prix will begin Friday.

Track and field fans will have to wait a little longer as well, with the Zurich Diamond League scheduled for Aug. 27.
