Recently the lightweight boxing champion Teofimo Lopez and his father chatted with ES News, shedding some light on the astonishing McGregor-Pacquiao fight.

Lopez Sr. said, “Oh, that’ll be insane! Anything is possible.”

His son was alongside him and he too expressed his notions on this fight, saying, “If Mayweather vs McGregor (can happen) anything is possible,”

The ‘Notorious’ One’s first and only boxing fight was against Floyd Mayweather in 2017, wherein the Irishman lost via a TKO in round 10. But that hasn’t stopped McGregor from thinking of a comeback fight. In fact, the Filippino Senator is equally excited as the former UFC double champ, to make this fight for real.

Both their respective teams are in talks to schedule this bout in the coming time, but first McGregor has to get past the mighty challenge of Dustin Poirier on January 23.
