Mixed martial arts is a sport where two fighters battle it out to test their skills. However, someone in Russia brought a twist to the nature of the sport. Four Russian MMA fighters competed in a blindfolded MMA bout. Not only was the fight blindfolded, but it was also a tag-team bout. However, things certainly did not turn out well as the fighters got bloodied.

Epic Fighting Championship hosted this blindfolded tag-team MMA fight. The pair of Vlad Podkolzin and Daniel Buslovskiy fought as a tag team against rivals Gulmamadov PM and Magamed Taygunov. The bout was pretty bizarre. It started with two fighters putting on a pair of blindfolds, as the other fighters were mere bystanders.

Later on, all four men put on blindfolds and launched attacks on each other without being able to see. While the striking blindfold was already tough, the fighters also got involved in a blindfolded wrestling match. However, the fighters had to be separated multiple times due to the tussle created on the ground, as they couldn’t see each other.

The fight was not only bizarre, but it also turned out to be dangerous. All four fighters who were involved in the blindfolded tag team bout were left bloodied.

The real action began when the round reached a midway point. A mass brawl broke out between the fighters who could see and the ones blindfolded. Security had to intervene, as the referee couldn’t control the situation. As there was one minute remaining for the round to end, the blindfold of all four fighters got removed and they started fighting in pairs. They landed heavy blows that caused significant damage to the face.

In the next round, the four men came together, created a mass brawl, and hit anyone and everyone. At the end of the fight, the fighters had to be treated for several cuts they received, which left them bleeding. Gulmamadov and Taygunov won this fight, and the pair celebrated their victory wildly.

This isn’t the first time the promotion has put up a fight like this. Previously, Epic Fighting Championship has put up a 2-on-1 handicap MMA fight and many other bizarre fights. From a land where UFC fighters like Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev come, these fights might seem pretty bizarre to be conducted.
