Although Woodley was able to land the harder punches, the former UFC champion seemed to have a problem letting his hands go.

The bigger and stronger Paul made good use of his jab in an attempt to keep Woodley off him. On the other hand, Woodley looked comfortable waiting for an opportunity to counter instead of closing in on Paul.

Going past the four-minute mark for the first time, Paul seemed out of gas but kept his composure and was the more active fighter out landing Woodley 71-52 in total punches.

Whatever one might have to say about Jake Paul, the former Disney star has once again achieved what he’d set out to do. A win over a former UFC champion like Tyron Woodley certainly validates his boxing abilities.

An intriguing matchup, to say the least, Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley commanded the attention of MMA and boxing fans alike. What’s more? Several MMA fighters had a few things to say about the fight that ended with Jake Paul emerging victorious.

Fan-favorite Nate Diaz, as always, had a hilarious reaction to the entire affair, posting the following tweet.

Former UFC middleweight and Light heavyweight contender Chael Sonnen had an interesting proposition to make.

UFC Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling seemed particularly invested in the fight, giving a running commentary the entire time.

Tyron Woodley was quick to express his interest in running it back in the post-fight interview. However, Paul says he’d only consider it once Woodley honored their pre-fight bet and gets an ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattoo. Only time will tell if we will get to witness the two in a rematch considering the list of fighters that would love to fight Jake Paul for the payday a fight with him brings.
