The ever-expanding ONE Championship has been on a roll to gain better viewership in the U.S.A. as they sign more fighters from the North American country. Their most recent signing is BJJ phenom, Danielle Kelly. Keeping all of this in mind as the promotion heads for a big year in 2022, Chatri Sityodtong released a massive update for fans of his MMA promotion in the United States.

Sityodtong, who himself is a Martial Artist, successfully brought up a competitor to the UFC in the Singapore-based MMA, kickboxing, grappling, and Muay Thai promotion- ONE Championship. Not only is the promotion competing for the top spot in combat sports, but it has already managed to trump many older and well-settled promotions in certain places.

This is massive news for MMA fans in the United States as ONE Championship will host some of the most unique and fascinating fights in the sport’s history.

ONE Championship is all set for ONE X

ONE Championship will host one of the most exciting fight cards in the history of MMA at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. On March 26th, former UFC flyweight Demetrious Johnson will compete in a ‘special rules’ super fight against Muay Thai sensation ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

Dubbed as one of the biggest fights in MMA, this special rules bout will see ONE Championship experiment with a new format of cage fighting. They will pit different styles of martial arts in the same fight.

Also on the fight card is an atomweight title clash between Angela Lee and Stamp Fairtex. Apart from these fights, a ‘Japanese MMA legends fight’ between Yoshihiro ‘Sexyama’ Akiyama and Shinya Aoki will also take place at the ONE X event.
