Cage Warriors (CW) is a mixed martial arts promotion based in London, England. The organization was founded in 2001, and its first MMA event took place in July 2002 in London. Many MMA fighters, including Conor McGregor and Michael Bisping, have built their careers under the Cage Warriors banner. CW is one of the few top promotions that take their events around the globe throughout Europe, North America, and the Middle East. The promotion is aired worldwide and is one of the featured promotions on the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s digital streaming service, UFC Fight Pass.

Cage Warriors is also recognized for bringing talent into the UFC. We witnessed some incredible talents from a CW fighter earlier this week. That fighter was Josh Wang-Kim, a youngster from San Diego, California, who is a joy to watch.  The San Diego native bagged himself another win on the CAGE WARRIORS 130 event against Jose Hernandez. Here’s a stunning display of the beautiful ‘sweet-chin music’ kick from the fight’s winner, Josh Wang-Kim.

Kim concluded his amateur career with a fantastic record of 15 victories and one defeat. He is also a Two time 1 CA state champion. Kim is now 4-0 in his professional career. Jose Hernandez had double the experience of Wang-Kim and has a proven ability to go the distance, with five of his seven fights lasting all three rounds. But he didn’t stand a chance against Josh Wang-Kim in the octagon.

Josh Wang-Kim and the ‘Twing Dragons’

Josh Wang-Kim forms one-half of the “Twin Dragons”. He and his twin brother John Wang-Kim are dubbed as “The Twin Dragons,”. They chose this name due to their Chinese heritage. Both brothers have an amateur fighting record of 30 victories and two losses. The Wang-Kim twins are talented fighters who aspire to be a part of the UFC. If their winning streak continues, a UFC debut could be on the cards for them.

The Wang-Kim brothers have traveled as far as Australia, where they trained with current UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski at Freestyle MMA in 2019. There is no information on their next bout as of yet, but if they want to make their way into the UFC, they must bag consistent victories in their upcoming fights.
