A lightweight title clash between Christian Lee and Ok Rae Yoon at ONE: Revolution had a controversial ending. The bout resulted in Ok winning the title via unanimous decision. However, the judges’ decision didn’t sit well with Lee and the majority of the MMA community.

Now, coming back to the fighters, Lee rightfully so is furious about this situation. Nobody wants to lose their title to a controversial decision. Thus, his only aim is to have a rematch and claim back his title.

In an exclusive interview with ONE Championship, Lee said – “I am still the champion. I am still the best fighter in the world. He couldn’t see out of his eye after the first round. He could barely walk out of the cage. He basically was handed the decision.”

“I’m ready to fight Ok Rae Yoon today. If he wants to fight, if he wants to do the rematch, we can do it as soon as possible. But if Ok is not ready, I’ll wait until he’s ready. And there’s no one else I want but him.” – Lee concluded.

Christian Lee vs. Ok Rae Yoon 2: Analysis

As aforementioned, their first bout concluded in Ok winning the title via a controversial unanimous decision. Regardless of the judges’ decision, Lee dominated the majority of the fight. 

Lee’s striking prowess only needed the first round to affect Ok’s game plan. In one of his interviews, Ok revealed that his vision was impaired after the first round, said – “I saw two Christian Lees in there.” Later, Ok also revealed that his bout against Lee resulted in him suffering an Orbital Bone injury.

There is no doubt that Lee can emerge victorious in the rematch. However, Ok now knows what to expect in a fight against Lee. Thus, Ok will be more prepared next time, which will make Lee’s job harder than their first bout at ONE: Revolution.
