One Championship is all set to host one of the biggest super fights in the history of the promotion. For the first time ever, fans will witness a mixed rule bout featuring a legendary mixed martial artist, Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson vs Muay Thai champion “The Iron Man” Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
This super-fight is all set to take place at One X on 26th March 2022 at Singapore Indoor Stadium. The card will be headlined by Stamp Fairtex vs Angela Lee, but the main attraction has to be this mixed rule super fight.

Christian Lee believes Demetrious Johnson will come out victorious
In a recent interview with South China Morning Post, Christian Lee stated that the mixed rule fight favors the former UFC champion. As soon as the fight switches over to MMA rounds, Rodtang would not be able to survive. DJ has a ferocious wrestling game and is extremely dangerous on the ground. Muay Thai champion has no prior experience on the ground, which will soon result in submission victory for DJ.

“I see that as a really good fight for DJ. Taking nothing away from Rodtang, I think it would have been better for him if it was strictly a Muay Thai match.DJ has had how many championship-level fights? There’s no way anyone’s going to come in there and knock him out in three minutes.”

He also emphasized that as soon as the fight switches over the super-fight will come to a close, “Then when it goes to the MMA round, it’s a lot harder for Rodtang to adjust to DJ’s skill level in wrestling and in jiu-jitsu. It’s probably going to end as soon as it switches over.”
