The ‘Unstoppable’ last fought Xiong Jing Nan in a rematch on October 13, 2019, at ONE Championship: Century Part 1. The 25-year-old successfully defended her ONE atomweight title by defeating Xiong via a fifth-round submission (rear-naked choke).
Ever since then, Lee has been busy living a happy personal life from her pregnancy to welcoming a newborn. However, she has kept herself aware of everything going around in her division, especially the ONE women’s World Atomweight Grand Prix.

“Definitely, I think I have that mama bear instinct. All moms do… I’m super protective of her, and I don’t know, I’m just super fired up. I haven’t felt this way in years. I can’t wait. I have that itch back.” – the ‘Unstoppable’ continued.

“Although I’ve taken time off physically, I’m still in the game (mentally). I haven’t taken a break. I’ve been watching what’s happening with the (Atomweight Grand Prix) and keeping track of the girls in my division. I’m so excited. We’re working on new things this camp, and I definitely think it’s gonna be my best performance yet.” – Lee concluded. [h/t MMA Junkie]
