However, Abbasov did a pretty good job on the mat, saved himself briefly, but ended up bleeding profusely. Reinier De Ridder slit opened Abbasov’s head and looked dominant in the maiden round itself. With 30 seconds remaining in round one, Abbasov went back up on his feet. Nevertheless, the champion had no intentions of offering a striking feast as he remained on the ground.
