India’s top martial arts exponent Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat meets Stamp Fairtex at ONE: WINTER WARRIORS on Friday, 3 December. Both athletes rallied past world-class opponents to punch their tickets into the inaugural women’s atomweight tournament finale.

Phogat advanced to the final with two unanimous decision wins, one over Meng Bo in the quarterfinals and one over Jenelyn Olsim in the semis. The Indian star used her top wrestling skills and much-improved striking arsenal to the full extent in those matches.

Stamp, on the other hand, earned her spot in the tournament decider following wins over Julie Mezabarba and Alyona Rassohyna. The Thai icon now seems poised for the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Championship Final.

“I just want to tell both of them that no one can stop me from winning the belt. I will prove that I am the best,” Phogat said. 

Stamp, on the other hand, has her own ambitions. The former two-sport queen is chasing a record-breaking third World Title over three disciplines. Similarly, a win for Stamp will make her the first-ever Thai female Mixed Martial Arts World Champion.

Phogat and Stamp’s matchup serves as the co-main event of the evening. In the main event, Regian “The Immortal” Eersel defends his ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title against

Islam Murtazaev. The Dutch-Surinamese World Champion enters his third World Title defense looking to improve his 5-0 record under the ONE Super Series banner.
