At ONE: ONLY THE BRAVE, fans witnessed an intriguing Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix bout in the co-main event. The first half of the Grand Prix semifinals featured Jo Nattawut, who stepped in on short notice, going up against Chingiz Allazov.

Several eyes were on this Grand Prix semifinal bout as the winner of this bout would eventually secure a spot in the ONE Featherweight World Grand Prix final.

Nattawut, 71-8-2 coming into this bout was coming off a victory over Yurik Davtyan at ONE: NEXTGEN II. Furthermore, Smokin’ Jo aimed to impress the fans, despite stepping in on a short notice.

Meanwhile, Allazov scored a first-round knockout over Samy Sana at ONE: FIRST STRIKE in October to book a slot in the Grand Prix semifinals.

The action started as soon as the bell rang. Both fighters landed several significant strikes. However, Allazov was the one who came out on top as he dropped Nattawut twice.

The bout resulted in Allazov claiming a dominating first-round KO victory over Nattawut.

What’s next for ‘Chinga’ and Smokin’ Jo?

The other half of the Grand Prix semifinal will feature Sittichai going up against Davit Kiria in the main event at ONE: ONLY THE BRAVE. The winner of this bout will also eventually secure a spot in the Grand Prix final.

As mentioned above, this was also a ONE Featherweight Grand Prix semifinal bout. It means Allazov will face the winner of Sittichai vs. Davit Kiria in the final. At the time of writing, ONE Championship does not have an official scheduled date and time for the GP final.

Meanwhile, Nattawut will have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what went wrong to put himself back on the map.
