VIDEO: Fans Go Wild As Conor McGregor Shadow Boxes On The Streets After Dinner Ahead of UFC 264

Former UFC dual division champion and perennial spotlight holder Conor McGregor is heading towards a blockbuster trilogy clash with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The headlining event will feature on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

It’s not even a debate as to whether ‘Notorious’ one is the most popular fighters in the history of the UF. The Irishman has a huge fan following thanks to his resume inside the ring and is a charismatic presence when he picks up the mic.

He is no stranger to large crowd gatherings that assemble to catch a glimpse of their UFC’s flagship star. Adding one more chapter to it, the ‘Notorious’ one had once again a similar feeling recently when he went out for dinner.

The enthusiastic fans circled in huge numbers around his car and chanted his name in the wee hours of July 4th. McGregor walked out to greet his fans and he shadow boxed in front of them for a few seconds to show his appreciation.

The interest McGregor generated with his display proved why no one can hold a candle to him. Despite the familiarity, Conor seemed surprised with the gathering and in the end, wished everyone a happy ‘4th of July’ before driving off.

McGregor is certainly pumped up for his fight. He has many things at stake apart from just the trilogy bout. In recent years, he has been as active as he once was. Many pundits and fans alike have already termed him underdog for the match.

However, in a recent Instagram Live Q&A, he sent a warning to Poirier“There will be a lot of weapons produced on the night, that’s for sure. He wants mixed martial arts? He’s going to get it.”

“I’ve been busy putting in the work. Full focus, fully immersed in mixed martial arts. It’s been nothing but mixed martial arts, so I’m ready to put on a show.”

“You can go through YouTube and see every interview in the book,” McGregor added. “I’ve got a job to do here. I’m back on the site. That’s the way I’m feeling here with this. Straight back on the building site.”

“He talks some amount lately. He’s going to pay for that, that’s for sure. That’s not going to be nice,” he concluded.
