WATCH: Tom Aspinall Continues Impressive UFC Run- Secures Another KO

Tom Aspinall vs Alan Baudot was the second fight on the main card. UFC fight night: Moraes vs Sandhagen was expected to deliver some amazing fights, which it did. The prelim card was stacked with some amazing fights that included some stunning KOs. 

Aspinall made his debut with the promotion in July with a stunning KO over Jake Collier. Following that, the UFC matched the promising heavyweight against a worthy adversary in Alan Baudot. The fight lasted a little under two minutes as Aspinall secured a second win in the UFC in quick succession.

Tom Aspinall moves up to 2-0 with a Brilliant performance

Tom Aspinall dominated the start from the very first round. The British fighter could land a takedown and worked his way to a mount. Once he was on top, he landed a devastating elbow that hurt Baudot. Sensing this, Tom unleashed a barrage of elbows followed by a series of unanswered punches. This was enough for the referee to step in and stop the fight.

Going into the fight, Tom was on a four-fight win streak with each victory coming via stoppage. As a result of his finish, Aspinall maintained the expectations fans had owing to his 89% finish rate. Baudot was making his UFC debut. He was on a two-fight win streak and had secured 88% of his wins via TKO/KO.

Most believed that the fight would not go the distance given the duo’s records. The fight started well for Aspinall as he landed punches early on. In the short period that the fight lasted, he was able to land 16 significant strikes with an accuracy of 64%, while absorbing only three.

With his second win in the UFC in the space of just a few months, the British fighter has established himself as one to look out for in the heavyweight division. His fights have lasted a little over two minutes in total. If Tom keeps this up, it will not be long before he faces a top 10 opponent in the division.
